Peter May - UK Singer Songwriter

Introducing the awesome talents of singer songwriter Peter May from Liverpool.

  First bitten by the musical bug at the age of 8 Peter was winning talent competitions throughout the UK even at that tender age.

 He later attended major auditions for top recording labels Sony/Epic (Nomis Studios for Sugarfree Records, a subsidiary label to Epic...where Peter met Paul Weller) and management labels Byrne Blood (Steps) and First Avenue Management (Eternal, Louise Redknapp, Honeyz, Dina Carrol.

Peter still uses the references to these where he beat off thousands of competitors to attend the HQs of these major music industry establishments....performing in front of MDs Oliver Smallman and Dennis Ingoldsby.

 In 2000, Peter thought he had made a major breakthrough, signing for production team Kintish Morrow Productions Ltd, who manufactured a band 'North by North West' in which Peter was an influential member.

 'North By North West' recorded singles that were presented to A&R Execs for Telstar, Sony and Universal (Polydor).

 They later signed a management deal with Elliot Davis at Purple Music Company and were promised a record deal by Universal (Polydor) for European Territories, after impressing then A&R Director Paul Murphy.

Unfortunately, the deal fell through when Paul Murphy left Polydor and decided to work freelance in the US.
